The hoses are used for lines that are routed near heat radiating components, such as exhaust manifolds or turbochargers. The hoses are sewn from aluminum-coated aramid fabric and are heat resistant up to 1090°C radiant and 260°C direct heat. The aluminum coating reflects up to 90% of radiant heat, effectively helping to prevent additional heating of oil, water or fuel, or protecting the line from damage due to excessive temperature.
