The hoses are used for lines that are routed near heat radiating components, such as exhaust manifolds or turbochargers. The hoses are sewn from aluminum coated aramid fabric and are heat resistant up to 1090°C radiant and 260°C direct heat. The aluminum coating reflects up to 90% of radiant heat, effectively helping to prevent additional heating of oil, water or fuel, or protecting the line from damage due to excessive temperature.
