The flap is installed in bulkheads of collecting tanks. The integrated seal effectively prevents the medium from flowing back. The lower web has a ramp on the inflow side, so that the inflow is facilitated and the backflow of the medium is impeded.

The bulkhead flap can be used for a collecting tank in the tank, but also e.g. in the oil sump.
