The thread adapter has a Dash connection on one side and a metric thread on the other side. This makes it possible to connect fittings with Dash connection to a metric thread.
For the metric side you need a sealing ring - depending on the application made of rubber, Teflon or aluminum. For the Dash connection side, no additional sealing is needed.
