The cap with M22x1,5 internal thread (relocation adapter) is being use to relocate the oil filter. This can be useful and necessary for various reasons (e.g. lack of space, installation of a larger oil filter, conversion to dry sump lubrication, etc.). The appropriate adapters, fittings and lines as well as the required filter holder can be found in our store.
The caps are milled from high-strength 6061-T6 Aluminim using high-precision CNC machines. The anodizing protects the aluminum from corrosion while providing an attractive appearance.
